Cloud Logistics has entered into a partnership with U.K.-based Inolog, an innovative technology company for sustainable logistics, to begin serving the United Kingdom, Ireland and other regions in Europe, the companies announced Thursday.
Cloud Logistics, a software provider that focuses on cost-effective, fast-to-implement and intuitive solutions for transportation management, said that providing a transportation management system (TMS) that offers carrier selection and tendering, along with mobile proof-of-delivery, integration with GPS tracking devices and geo-fencing will help shippers in England reduce freight costs, improve visibility and enhance customer service.
“While we continue to grow and expand in the United States, there remains tremendous demand in England and elsewhere in Europe for an intuitive TMS that can be implemented in days or weeks,” Cloud Logistics CEO Mark Nix said. “In addition, many of our global customers, such as Sapa Extrusions, Spirit AeroSystems, M&G DuraVent, and Container Centralen (CC Racks) have operations in Europe that could serve as ideal launching points for our partnership.”
