CMA-CGM GROUP PURSUES EXPANSION
The French shipping group CMA-CGM said that it expects to continue
to grow, following its recent entry in the transpacific trade and several acquisitions.
CMA-CGM bought Australian National Lines and purchased the
Caribbean/Mediterranean services of Delmas.
CMA-CGM expects to have group annual revenues of FFr8.5 billion ($1.36
billion) to FFr9 billion ($1.44 billion) this year, compared to FFr8 billion in 1998.
