The French ocean carrier will become a slot purchaser on the jointly operated APL, MOL, NYK and Hanjin ASA service between Asia, Mexico, Colombia and Panama this week.
Ocean carrier CMA CGM is becoming a slot purchaser on the ASA service between Asia, Mexico, Colombia and Panama this week, dubbing it the NEWACSA5, according to the company’s most recent online service schedules.
CMA CGM will join with the March 5 sailing of the Hanjin Rome from Busan.
The ASA has a rotation of Busan, Kaohsiung, Chiwan, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Manzanillo (Mexico), Lazaro Cardenas, Buenaventura, Balboa, Lazaro Cardenas, Manzanillo (Mexico), Yokohama and Busan.
APL, MOL, NYK and Hanjin provide vessels for the loop, while Hapag-Lloyd and “K” Line purchase slots.
A total of eight vessels with an average capacity of 5,930 TEUs operate on the ASA, according to ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting.
