CMA-CGM JOINS SEA-LAND, MAERSK IN JOINT MED/U.S. SERVICE

   CMA-CGM said that it will join a revised service of Sea-Land Service and
Maersk Line in the trade between the Mediterranean and the U.S. East and Gulf coasts.

   The service, which now includes a call at CMA-CGM’s Mediterranean hub of
Malta, will have a rotation of New York, Charleston, Freeport, Miami, Houston, Freeport,
Charleston, Algeciras, Malta, Gioia Tauro, Genoa, Valencia, Algeciras, New York
(westbound), Charleston, Freeport and Miami.

   The move follows the termination of a 4-ship joint service between
CMA-CGM, Italia and Evergreen.
