CMA CGM to cut some sailings during Chinese New Year

   CMA CGM said in anticipation of reduced production during the Lunar New Year period in China, starting Feb. 10, it plans to cancel six sailings in the Far East-to-North Europe trade.

  • Cancel one sailing on FAL 1, week 7.
  • Cancel one sailing on FAL 10, week 7.
  • Cancel one sailing on FAL 3, week 7.
  • Cancel two sailings on FAL 7, weeks 7 and 8.
  • Cancel one sailing on FAL 2, week 8.

   The French liner carrier said to continue providing its customers with efficient service and to maintain an optimum coverage of the reion during this period, it will implement additional calls at Singapore and Le Havre on the FAL 1 on week 8; at Xiamen, Chiwan and Tanger Med on FAL 3 on week 6; and at Yantian and Sines on FAL 6 on weeks 6 and 7. – Chris Dupin
