CN reaches tentative labor agreement with rail traffic controllers

Canadian National Railway Company and Teamsters union agreed on a four-year deal for controllers in Canada.

The Canadian National Railway Company (CN) and the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference-Rail Canada Traffic Controllers (TCRC-RCTC) union, which represents rail traffic controllers in Canada, negotiated a tentative labor agreement Thursday.
Because the agreement has yet to be ratified by union members, full details are not yet available. CN said in a statement that the deal would increase wages and improve benefits for approximately 180 employees.
CN expects the union to announce the results of a ratification vote by the end of February.
