CNF NAMES SWACKHAMER VP, CIO
Roy Swackhamer has been named vice president and chief information officer of CNF Inc., the Portland, Ore.-based transportation company whose operating companies are Emery Worldwide, Con-Way Transportation Services and Menlo Logistics.
Swackhamer was director of information technology at Menlo Logistics, a subsidiary of CNF. Prior to that, he held several management positions, including director of the U.S. apparel information technology department at Nicke, vice president of business systems and development at US BanCorp., director of information services and administration at PacifiCorp Financial Services and a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche.
