Coast Guard: Miami River restrictions continue
The U.S. Coast Guard said it has placed new restrictions on traffic in the Miami River due to a barge that partially sank on Saturday.
No vessels longer than 45 feet or exceeding 16 feet in width may transit the Miami River where the barge sank. These restrictions are expected to last through Wednesday.
The 195-foot barge buckled and cracked between the Dolphin Expressway Bridge and the NW 12th Avenue Bridge.
