Compass Forwarding picks IES software
New York-based Compass Forwarding has selected software applications from IES Ltd., a provider of brokerage, electronic in-bond, and customs filing technology.
Compass Forwarding will use the IES Purchase Order Direct supply chain system to manage their shipments from purchase order through manufacturing, allocation and final delivery.
“IES Purchase Order Direct will mean better inventory of purchase orders, better history of returns for repair and better customer service due to online real time data being available. Our customers can administer purchase orders, view factory production, monitor transit and warehouse inventory, allocate shipments, manage logistics, check shipment status and handle returns,” said Robert Shelala, vice president of Compass Forwarding.
IES has its headquarters in Midland Park, N.J.
