Contract awarded for intermodal terminal in Columbus, Ohio
The Columbus Regional Airport Authority has awarded a $30 million contract for construction of Norfolk Southern’s intermodal terminal at Rickenbacker International Airport.
The terminal “will significantly expand the region’s intermodal capacity,” said Elaine Roberts, president and chief executive officer of the authority.
Nickolas Savko & Sons Inc. will begin construction of the intermodal facility in September and work is expected to be completed in early 2008.
