Ocean carriers COSCO and Evergreen Line will terminate their jointly operated CSX loop between China and Southeast Asia with the last sailing to depart Qingdao Oct. 1 with the Stadt Rostock, according to ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting.
CSCL is a slot purchaser on the CSX, which has a rotation of Qingdao, Shanghai, Xiamen, Shekou, Pasir Gudang, Singapore, Surabaya, Singapore and Qingdao.
The intra-Asia loop operates with four vessels with an average capacity of 2,742 TEUs.
Although the last sailing will depart Oct. 1, the last full sailing on the service departed Qingdao Sept. 2 with the Stadt Rostock. All voyages on the service after the Sept. 2 sailing end after the second Singapore call.
