The warehouse and logistics services provider has opened a 355,000 square-foot warehouse and office facility in the continually-expanding Dallas Metroplex area for contract logistics and freight management support, the Crane Worldwide announced Tuesday.
Freight management and warehouse provider Crane Worldwide Logistics has commenced operations at a new 355,000 square-foot warehouse and office facility in Dallas, the company announced Tuesday.
The facility, which opened in mid-December with roughly 75 employees, offers 5,500 rack positions and warehouse space, as well as contract logistics and freight management support to clients importing and exporting into the Dallas Metroplex area.
The Dallas region has shown continued growth and expansion, recovering faster than the rest of the U.S. due to “the central time zone, DFW airport, the relative low cost of doing business as well as an affordable cost of living in comparison to similar sized markets,” Crane Worldwide said in a statement.
“Our clients are very positive about their future growth in the Dallas area and working side by side with them, our team has provided a state of the art facility located adjacent to Dallas airport to provide complete supply chain support in the years ahead,” added Tim Zubradt, chief sales officer at Crane Worldwide Logistics.
“There are many organizations looking for logistics support in the area right now,” said Zubradt. “Crane Worldwide Logistics has positioned itself accordingly and welcomes the prospect of developing a key hub for new clients also. Our team has a wealth of experience in sectors such as Energy, Government Services, Life Sciences, Hi-Tech and Automotive and are available to assist companies with expansion in the area, thanks to our local knowledge.”
