CSX opens new terminal in Quebec

The railway’s new Canadian terminal will connect businesses in Montreal with markets in the eastern United States

CSX Railway has opened a new intermodal terminal in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec.
The 36-hectare terminal includes five kilometers of track and uses
three modern rubber-tire gantry cranes to transfer containers between
trucks and double-stack trains carrying as much cargo as 280 trucks.
The railway said its new terminal increases access for businesses in the Montreal region to the CSX railroad and U.S. markets such as Florida, Atlanta and the Ohio Valley.
