Dachser has opened its first bonded container freight station and bonded warehouse in the United States near the Miami International Airport.
According to the third party logistics company, the new development will allow it to offer a broader range of services.
Staff at the facility will handle import deconsolidations, in-bond cargoes, and combine domestic freight with in-bond shipments for export ocean containers.
Last month, Dacsher reported it was on course for passing the 5-billion-euro revenue mark in 2013. Last year, Dachser’s revenue rose by 3.7 percent to 4.41 billion euros. – Jon Ross
