We should add a 6PL; another group of individuals that don’t get anything done; don’t provide anything of IMPERICAL data but drive the freight rates up.
At the end of the day the client pays an outrageous rate for the transportation of their product but the money doesn’t get to the trucking company that does the actual work.
I hope the transparency rules get past and all these legal criminals can get bucked. Half these 3PL’s don’t even know geography let alone KPI metrics that matter to the 1PL & 2PL.
