Maersk’s third-party logistics subsidiary entered into a five-year partnership agreement to be Bettenwelt’s sole inbound logistics partner for shipments from Asia to Germany and Spain.
Damco signed a partnership agreement with European retailer Bettenwelt to become the company’s sole inbound logistics partner for shipments from Asia to Germany and Spain, the third-party logistics company said.
The five-year contract includes integrated supply chain management solutions at origins and destinations, along with process improvement initiatives supported by strong key account management.
Overall, the agreement is an extension of a partnership between the two companies, as Damco has managed Bettenwelt’s inbound flows from Asia to Germany and Spain since 2013.
Bettenwelt is part of the global JYSK Group and specializes in the retail of mattresses, duvets, pillows, furniture, home furniture and home accessories.
