DANISH POST JOINS WITH DHL
DHL International, the non-U.S. arm of global express carrier DHL
Worldwide Express, has signed an agreement with Denmark’s national postal
company to jointly offer international express delivery services to
shippers in Denmark.
Post Danmark will use DHL’s international network to expand its express
services to its customers and DHL will use Danish post offices to expand
its sales presence in Denmark. The co-branded express service will be
called Jetpost Foreign DHL.
Post Danmark said it will begin to severe its ties to TNT Post Group in
light of the new partnership. DHL is partly owned by Deutsche Post Group.
