Davies Turner expanding Bristol, U.K. hub
Davies Turner & Co., the United Kingdom’s largest independent freight forwarding and logistics group, has started expansion of its multimodal hub in Bristol, South West England.
The overall warehouse area at Avonmouth will be tripled to an overall footprint of 10,500 square meters. On completion in March, Davies Turner's Bristol Western Freight Terminal will comprise two warehouses within the same secure perimeter fence.
'This is the start of much needed expansion for Davies Turner in the South West as our existing transit depot is already working to full capacity,” said Philip Stephenson, Davies Turner’s joint managing director.
