Dean Warehouse launches new division
Dean Warehouse, a Cumberland, Rhode Island-based company, has announced the launch of a new division, Dean SupplyChain Management.
The company said the division offers “customized solutions for any logistics and transportation need, coordinating and managing freight domestically and internationally.”
Customers are provided with “real-time data that locates and centralizes inventory within the logistics chain.” An online, radio-frequency-based system, allow users to track their inventory throughout the supply-chain management system.
The company said the division is working with clients in India, China, Europe and across the United States, and has added 500,000 square feet of warehouse space in six major facilities in Lubbock, Texas; Cincinnati; Fresno and Long Beach, Calif.; Billings, Mont.; and Miami.
Founded in Northern Rhode Island in 1980 by Bradford A. Dean, Dean Warehouse has two million square feet of distribution space at 13 locations.
