Although the deal is still subject to regulatory approval, Williams Lea Tag’s operations and assets are expected to transfer over to Advent International by the fourth quarter of 2017.
Deutsche Post DHL Group is selling Williams Lea Tag, its London-based marketing and communications supply chain services provider, to private equity firm Advent International.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, and the transaction is still subject to regulatory approval.
DHL said it expects Williams Lea Tag’s operations and assets to transfer over to Advent by the fourth quarter of 2017. Williams Lea Tag has over 10,000 employees and operates in more than 40 countries across the globe.
The agreement will allow Deutsche Post DHL Group to strengthen its focus on its core logistics service offering, DHL said.
