DEUTSCHE POST OPENS LOGISTICS CENTER IN BREMEN
Deutsche Post, the German logistics and postal service group, has opened a multi-user logistics center in Bremen.
The center is located at the Bremen Gueterverkehrszentrum and occupies 25,000 square meters.
Deutsche Post said that the center already handles the forwarding business of Tchibo, the German coffee group. Deutsche Post deals with 26,000 packages a day for Tchibo.
The center is run by Deutsche Post Fulfilment GmbH, a new subsidiary of the rapidly-expanding Deutsche Post group.
Deutsche Post Fulfilment has about 550 employees and specializes in the international business-to-consumer sector, the company said.
