DHL, DNATA CARGO SIGN EXPANDED GROUND-HANDLING CONTRACT
DHL Worldwide Express and Dnata Cargo, a provider of ground-handling and airport cargo services in the Middle East, have signed a contract that expands the company's operating relationship.
Under the new contract, Dnata Cargo will provide a team of personnel dedicated to DHL. The personnel will wear DHL uniforms and will be trained to work within DHL's organization. Dnata Cargo handling equipment will also bear the DHL logo and will be operated by the dedicated team. A manager from Dnata Cargo will be assigned as a key account manager to enable closer coordination between the two companies.
The new ground-handling agreement also provides innovative and simplified billing and accounting procedures between the two companies, they said.

DHL operates 38 weekly freighter touchdowns at Dubai airport, connecting with DHL's worldwide network.
