DHL Express announces rate increase for U.S. account holders

The Bonn, Germany-based parcel carrier said it will impose a 4.9 percent general average price increase for its U.S. account holders, effective Jan. 2.

   DHL Express said it will impose a 4.9 percent general average price increase for its U.S. account holders, effective Jan. 2.
   The express carrier said its annual price increase takes into account inflation, currency adjustments and other costs, such as those related to compliance with security regulations.
   DHL said a guide to its 2017 rates is also available online.
