DHL OPENS LOGISTICS CENTER IN OHIO
DHL Airways Inc., the U.S. operating arm of express carrier DHL Worldwide Express, has opened an Express Logistics Center near its main hub in Cincinnati to meet demand for international and domestic logistics solutions.
DHL said the new facility will offer later delivery cut-off times and late-night order fulfillment services to the carrier’s logistics clients. DHL also said the center will “serve a growing niche of overseas firms that want to establish or expand their U.S. presence without costly capital investment.”
The ELC will serve the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe, offering storage and inventory management; packing and labeling; pick and pack; repair and return; cross docking; and test and assembly services.
