DOT policy chief departs
Emil Frankel has resigned as assistant secretary for transportation policy at the U.S. Department of Transportation, effective Feb. 11.
Frankel helped draft the administration’s surface transportation reauthorization proposal. The six-year highway bill has been tied up in Congress since last year. He also headed the department’s Office of Intermodalism.
