Durst to lead CBP’s Baltimore field office

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has appointed Casey Durst to lead its Baltimore Field Office, where she will oversee a staff of 800 and agency field operations stretching from southern New Jersey to northern Virginia.

   U.S. Customs and Border Protection has appointed Casey Durst to lead its Baltimore Field Office.
   She succeeds Augustine Moore, who now serves at CBP’s Washington headquarters.
   The Baltimore Field Office is staffed by more than 800 employees and is responsible for all aspects of CBP’s field operations in southern New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and northern Virginia. 
   Durst previously served as CBP’s area port director of St. Albans, Vt., where she oversaw 18 ports of entry throughout Vermont and New Hampshire.  
   She started her career in 1997 as a Customs inspector at Washington Dulles International Airport. Since then, Durst served in numerous leadership positions, including acting port director at John. F. Kennedy International Airport, assistant director for trade operations for the El Paso, Texas, Field Office, and in several assignments at CBP headquarters.
