EC CLEARS POLAND/FINLAND CONFERENCE
The European Commission has decided not to oppose exemption from
European competition laws for the Polfin Liner Conference, operating
between Poland and Finland.
Under the arrangement, Finncarriers Oy Ab, EuroAfrica Shipping Lines
Ltd. and Poseidon Schiffahrt AG pool resources, revenues and expenses of
their liner services between Finland and Poland.
The parties operate three sailings a week between Helsinki and Gdynia,
and weekly between Helsinki and Szczecin and between Kotka and Gdynia.
