ECONOCARIBE OPENS TERMINAL IN CHARLOTTE
Econocaribe, a non-vessel-operating common carrier for the Caribbean and Latin America, has established a receiving terminal in Charlotte, N.C.
Bob Goldenberg, vice president of Econocaribe said, “Our Charlotte warehouse will move cargo to Charleston, where we have weekly export consolidation service to Puerto Rico, Spain, the Mediterranean, and on carriage to Miami for export to Latin America and the rest of the Caribbean.”
Charlotte bookings are coordinated from Econocaribe’s office in Charleston. The Carolina warehouses allow the NVO’s customers to receive automatic notification of cargo arrival, as well as track-and-trace functionality via its website, www.econocaribe.com.
