ECONOCARIBE TAKES ON FREIGHTDESK.COM SYSTEM
Miami-based non-vessel-operating common carrier Econocaribe Consolidators has acquired the Internet-based applications developed by FreightDesk.com to help manage its work with its clients.
The two Web-based programs — FreightDeskPro and Tracking.com — were developed by the Bethesda, Md.-based Internet firm to help NVOs and freight forwarders reduce their operations costs.
“Not only will our clients have the ability to track the day-to-day movements of their shipments via the Internet or with their cellular phones, they will reduce their document production and exchange costs,” said John Abisch, president of Econocaribe.
