EGL Inc., the Texas-based forwarder and logistics company, has signed an agreement with Harley-Davidson Inc. to provide logistics support for 65 percent of the motorcycle maker’s domestic deliveries.

EGL started working with Harley-Davidson two years ago and has increased its business with the company ever since. “This agreement represents a true alliance with Harley-Davidson by allowing us to utilize our time-definite domestic ground network to provide high-level logistics services,” said EGL chairman James R. Crane.
“Eagle has put together a terrific plan for Harley-Davidson that will help us manage the costs, quality and control of our motorcycle delivery program,” said David Alamshah, Harley-Davidson’s transportation director.
