EMI selects DHL Exel Supply Chain
EMI Music France has awarded a five-year contract to DHL Exel Supply Chain to provide logistics services at EMI’s 8,500-square-meter warehouse in Saint-Ouen-L’Aum'ne, North of Paris. No financial details were disclosed.
Once products, including CDs and DVDs, arrive at the site, DHL Exel Supply Chain will manage unloading, checking, stocking and order preparation. On average, 120,000 items are prepared at the warehouse every day.
DHL Exel Supply Chain also carries out promotional packaging and value-added logistic services for EMI such as special and regular packaging, labeling CDs, DVDs and boxes when they are delivered with an embargo date, as well as preparing the displays. DHL Exel Supply Chain also manages all returns to Saint-Ouen-L’Aum'ne.
