EMS opens office Dubai office
EMS Global Tracking, a division of EMS Technologies, has opened an office in Dubai to serve the Middle East and Africa region.
'EMS is committed to the Middle East region and considers Dubai, as a logistics operations hub for the area, an ideal location from which to grow our global tracking business,' said Simon van den Dries, vice president of global sales for EMS Global Tracking, in a statement.
The new office shares space with LXE, EMS's division offering ruggedized computers for locations such as warehouses and ports.
Faisal Saifullah, EMS Global Tracking's regional sales manager for the Middle East and North Africa region, said the company plans to add staff in early 2011. 'The opportunities in the security space are really booming — having more people on the ground will help us to support our customers, grow our market share and improve our revenues from the region,' he said.
