England Logistics plans expansion

England Logistics said it will double its workforce to 400 over the next three years and build a new call center at its headquarters in Salt Lake City.

Started in 1996, England Logistics is the wholly-owned third-party logistics subsidiary of C.R. England Inc., an 85-year-old refrigerated trucking company. It has annual revenues of more than $150 million.

England Logistics provides truckload brokerage, less-than-truckload freight forwarding, refrigerated intermodal, import and export container hauling and traffic management.

“To continue to provide our customers with the service they have come to expect and to meet increasing marketplace demands, hiring additional employees and moving into a new facility are essential,” said Sean Snow, vice president.
