ESYNC secures continued AWG contract
Supply chain consulting firm ESYNC said Tuesday it has been selected to continue its strategic supply chain consulting work with Associated Wholesale Grocers.
ESYNC has worked with AWG since early 2005 to develop warehouse, transportation and labor management systems, as well as supply chain execution solutions. The implementation phase includes rollout to each of AWG’s seven distribution centers, which deliver to 2,246 retail outlets, including nonmember customers of its wholly owned subsidiary, Valu Merchandisers Co. The new solution replaces AWG’s current legacy systems and will provide visibility and access to real-time information.
