Etihad Cargo strengthens presence in Middle East

The cargo airline commenced a new service from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to Muscat, along with a new service from Abu Dhabi to Kuwait.

   Etihad Cargo has launched a new service from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to Muscat, Oman, along with a new service from Abu Dhabi to Kuwait, the cargo airline said.
   Both services utilize A330 freighter aircraft and operate on a twice a week basis.
   “By strengthening our existing connectivity to Kuwait and introducing a new freighter service to Muscat, our frequency in the Middle East has now increased to 11 flights weekly,” Etihad Cargo Vice President David Kerr said. “The Middle East market continues to perform strongly for us and is at the core of our operation. We will also be looking to expand elsewhere around the globe during the year ahead.”
   Etihad Cargo was established in 2004 and operates from its hub at the Abu Dhabi International Airport.
