Eurinpro builds warehouse for German retailer
Eurinpro, an international developer of customized warehouse and distribution facilities, said German retailer Strauss Innovation has started operations at a 215,000-square-foot facility in the western German town of Solingen.
Christian Bischoff, country manager, Eurinpro Germany, said Strauss Innovation wanted a new warehouse near its old building so it could remain in the same geographic area. Eurinpro identified and negotiated to acquire a 463,000-square-foot parcel less than nine miles away. Then Eurinpro built the warehouse with a free height of 39 feet to maximize the use of racking equipment and to accommodate outsized pallets often required to ship Strauss Innovation's products.
Eurinpro does most of its projects in Europe, but now has operations in the U.S., with its country manager for the U.S. based in New York.
