European Gateway Services increased the frequency of its Rotterdam-Bayern Express, which runs between Rotterdam and Southern Germany, in both directions.
Synchromodal service provider European Gateway Services announced the Rotterdam-Bayern Express, a jointly operated rail freight service with European rail freight transport company TX Logistik AG, has increased its frequency from four to five departures a week in both directions.
The Rotterdam-Bayern Express, which connects Rotterdam to Southern Germany, can accommodate both maritime and continental cargo.
In Rotterdam, the rail service calls all major container terminals at Maasvlakte and in the city area. In Southern Germany, the Rotterdam-Bayern Express will serve the Tricon Container Terminal in Nuremberg and the inland terminal München Riem in Munich.
European Gateway Services provides inland shipping and rail connections from Rotterdam to a network of inland terminals throughout Europe.
TX Logistik AG offers rail freight transport throughout Germany, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Norway and Sweden.
