EVA OPENS DOOR TO ONEWORLD
Taiwanese carrier EVA Airways has signed a code-share agreement with
American Airlines that may lead the carrier to join the oneworld alliance anchored by
American and British Airways.
EVA and American will sell seats on each others flights across the
Pacific and EVA will also sell seats on American flights inside the U.S.
EVA, which plans to raise $6.3 million through an initial public
offering of stock in October, shares all-cargo space on flights to Europe
with British Airways.
