Evergreen Line joins intra-Asia CKI loop

The Taiwanese ocean carrier will purchase slots on the CKI service, which is jointly operated by KMTC and TS Lines.

   Ocean carrier Evergreen Line will join the intra-Asia CKI service, which is jointly operated by KMTC and TS Lines, as a slot purchaser.
   Evergreen Line will join the loop with the Jan. 13 sailing of the Northern Vivacity from Busan, according to the carrier’s most recent online service schedules.
   The CKI has a rotation of Busan, Gwangyang, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh (VICT/Cat Lai), Hong Kong, Ningbo, Shanghai and Busan. The loop operates with four vessels with an average vessel capacity of 2,804 TEUs, according to ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting.
   KMTC provides three vessels on the CKI, while TS Line provides one vessel. Hanjin, CMA CGM, and subsidiary lines ANL, CNC Line and Delmas purchase slots on the loop.
