The ocean carrier joined the joint Hanjin, Yang Ming and TS Lines CKA service, which connects Korea and China with Australia.
According to ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting, Evergreen Line has begun purchasing slots on the joint Hanjin Shipping, Yang Ming and TS Lines CKA service between Asia and Oceania.
The first sailing departed Busan June 11 on the Hanjin Montevideo.
The CKA operates with six vessels, four from Hanjin and one each from Yang Ming and TS Lines, with an average capacity of 4,386 TEUs.
The loop also recently dropped calls at Shekou and Kaohsiung, and added a call at Qingdao. The revised port rotation of the CKA is Busan, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Busan.
Evergreen Line provides vessels on one other service between China and Australia, the six vessel 4,303-TEU average CAT string. The CKA is the only service Evergreen Line participates on between Korea and Australia.
