EVERGREEN RAISES EASTBOUND ATLANTIC RATES
Evergreen Line will increase eastbound transatlantic rates by $160 per
20-foot container and $200 per 40-foot box, effective Jan 1.
The general rate increase will only apply to current tariff rates and
will not affect the current service contracts due to expire beyond Jan. 1, a spokesman for
Evergreen said.
The eastbound rate increase by the non-conference carrier is identical to the
price rises announced by the Trans-Atlantic Conference Agreement.
