Evergreen to enter western China logistics market
The Taiwanese Evergreen Group and Chongqing Shangshe Group will establish a joint venture company to build and operate a logistics and distribution center in Chongqing, western China, Xinhua reports.
Chongqing Shangshe Group (51 percent) and Evergreen (49 percent) will invest about RMB200 million ($26 million) in the new logistics center, which will cover a total area measuring 153,334 square meters, including up to 100,000 square meters of warehouse space, a 30,000-square-meter storage yard and car park and 6,000 square meters of offices.
