Executive Moves: 3GTMS and CEVA Logistics

3GTMS has appointed a new chief operating officer, while CEVA Logistics names contract logistics manager for Iberia region.

   Settlement transportation management software provider 3GTMS has appointed Jerry Rau chief operating officer. He joins the company after serving as president and chief executive officer of Veraction, formerly Iron Data Transportation. Rau has also held executive positions at information technology firms RedPrairie (JDA) and i2 Technologies (JDA), as well as carriers/logistics services providers Mayne Nickless, Day & Ross Transportation Group and Canadian Pacific.

   CEVA Logistics has named Oriol Bartol director of contract logistics for Iberia. Nearly 50 percent of CEVA’s business in Spain in contract logistics, the company said. Bartol joined CEVA in 2002 and replaces Juan José Yabar who transferred to CEVA’s U.S. operation to become vice president of operations for North America contract logistics.
