Aljex Software names VP of business development, while Rico Logistics appoints e-commerce logistics director.
Transportation management software provider Aljex Software has named Mark Weiss vice president of business development. Weiss formerly served as chief operating officer at Florida-based transportation services provider Sunteck Holdings, which he joined as a national account executive in 2000.
U.K.-based Rico Logistics, a provider of same-day courier services, has appointed Amarjit Pall director of e-commerce logistics for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. He is credited with setting up an $11 million contract logistics operation for Rico in the United Kingdom within the past three years.
