Executive Moves: Ascent Global Logistics, GSC Logistics and OSM Maritime Group

Ascent Global Logistics appoints vice president of strategic accounts for Marisol International, while GSC Logistics hires senior manager of sales and business development and OSM Maritime Group name two new board members.

   Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. subsidiary Ascent Global Logistics has appointed Aaron Brott vice president of strategic accounts for Marisol International, a provider of air and ocean freight forwarding, customs clearance and regulatory compliance solutions.
   Brott joined Roadrunner in 2014 and has 21 years of diversified management experience in operations, customer service, marketing and sales in the supply chain and logistics industries, including previous positions with APL Logistics, UTi Worldwide, UPS Supply Chain and Emery Worldwide.

   Third-party provider GSC Logistics, Inc. has hired Steven Larkin as senior manager of sales and business development based out of the company’s Oakland, Calif., headquarters. Larkin, whose professional experience includes stints with NYK Line, Hyundai, China Ocean Shipping Corporation, APL, NOL and P&O Containers, will report directly to Joseph Zepko, vice president of sales and marketing.

   Jens Lassen, former head of Carnival Maritime, and Donald Anderson, former CEO of V. Ships Group, have joined ship management services provider OSM Maritime Group as members of the board.
   OSM Maritime Group said it will leverage Lassen and Anderson’s senior level management experience in ship management, maritime finance, and mergers and acquisitions, in the company’s expansion efforts.
