Executive Moves: Cargo 2000 and CHAMP Cargosystems

Cargo 2000 appoints new executive director, while CHAMP Cargosystems names CFO.

Ariaen Zimmerman has been appointed executive director of Cargo 2000 (C2K), an International Air Transport Association interest group established to increase the use of electronic data and quality across the air cargo industry. C2K is currently adopting a new auditing system, neutral benchmarks, and embracing a “smarter, wider approach to data analysis” using Smart Data. Zimmerman most recently worked at Saudi Airlines Cargo.

CHAMP Cargosystems has named Gabriel Florea group chief financial officer, taking over from Susan Boulton who recently left the company. Before joining CHAMP, Florea worked at HARSCO Luxembourg since 2012 where he was regional finance director for Europe south and west and CFO of the French and Luxembourgish holding structures.
