Executive Moves: CargoLogicAir, TIACA and Intelligent Transportation Society of America

CargoLogicAir appoints new CEO, while TIACA names chairman and vice chairman, and the Intelligent Transportation Society of America appoints new president and CEO.

   David Kerr was appointed chief executive officer of British all-cargo airline CargoLogicAir. He has more than 20 years of experience in the airline industry, mostly recently working for Etihad Aviation Group.

   Sebastiaan Scholte, CEO of Jan de Rijk Logistics, was named chairman of The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA), while Steven Polmans, head of cargo and logistics at Brussels Airport Co., will serve as the association’s vice chairman. Scholte, who was TIACA vice chairman for two and a half years, takes over from Sanjiv Edward, head of cargo business at Delhi International Airport.

   The Intelligent Transportation Society of America, an association dedicated to the development and deployment of intelligent transportation technologies, named Shailen Bhatt president and CEO. Bhatt most recently served as the executive director of Colorado Department of Transportation.
