Crane Worldwide Logistics hires vice president of global sales, while Danish Shipowners’ Association appoints director for European Union affairs.

   Crane Worldwide Logistics has hired John Jergens as vice president of global sales, based in Dallas, Texas.
   Jergens has held previous positions managing global sales processes and development strategies for customer accounts at a freight forwarder in his 20-year logistics career.

   Casper Andersen has been appointed director for European Union affairs at the Danish Shipowners’ Association’s office in Brussels, effective April 3.
   He takes over from Simon Bergulf, who was recently named director of regulatory affairs for Maersk. Andersen previously worked for the Confederation of Danish Industry and was a corporate public affairs advisor for Denmark at the European Union.
