Executive Moves: Dayton Freight Lines, Virgin Atlantic Cargo and Vnomics

Dayton Freight Lines names VP of legal, while Virgin Atlantic Cargo appoints U.S. regional sales manager and Vnomics picks chief technology officer.

   Dayton Freight Lines has appointed Dave Deptula vice president of legal and special projects. He will cover corporate legal matters and contracts, and provide general accounting, tax and finance assistance to the company and its shareholders. Deptula was most recently with Standard Register as vice president of tax treasury from 2011 to 2015.

   Virgin Atlantic Cargo has named John Giannitelli regional sales manager in the United States, based at New York’s JFK International Airport. He joined the airline from Aer Lingus where he ran the U.S. sales and reservations operation. Before that, he spent nine years at Qantas covering the U.S. East Coast.

   Vnomics Corp., driver and truck performance technology provider, has promoted Lloyd Palum to chief technology officer. He joined the company in 2013 as vice president of engineering.
