DB Cargo AG CEO will resign at the end of October; LOC Group appoints CEO and group deputy chairman; and KCS names vice president, health, safety and environmental.
Dr. Jürgen Wilder, chief executive officer of DB Cargo AG, the rail freight division of Deutsche Bahn, will resign from his position at the end of October, and has also decided to withdraw his interest in the position of board member for DB Freight Transport and Logistics. Wilder joined Deutsche Bahn AG in December 2015 and had previously worked for Siemens AG.
LOC Group, a marine and engineering consultancy, is appointing Jerome Rutler, currently the group’s chief operating officer, as chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1, 2018, succeeding Andrew Squire, who will take on a new role as group deputy chairman.
Kansas City Southern, a transportation holding company with railroad investments in the United States, Mexico and Panama, has promoted Kayden Howard from associate general counsel to the newly-created position of vice president, health, safety and environmental. Howard joined Kansas City Southern in 2005. Before joining the company, Howard was an attorney practicing labor and employment law with Shook, Hardy & Bacon, and also worked for the U.S. Department of Labor.
The company will also add a newly-created vice president and safety position.
